With the addition of a sterling silver wire wrapped gemstone, these fashion bracelets are a new twist on the knotted paracord survival bracelets that were originally used by military paratroopers. Once the paratroopers landed on the ground they would knot up the parachute cords (also known as paracord) into bracelets, melt the ends to secure and prevent the ends from fraying; thus making for easy transport and further use in a variety of situations. As a situation would arise requiring the use of light cordage, the trooper would simply unwind the bracelet and use the cord footage.
The knotted survival bracelets you will find on this website are created using either para–cord type polypropylene 225 pound test, polypropylene 300 pound test, and/or 100 pound test UV, rot, and mildew resistant braided cordage .
Note: The cordage used in the creation of the knotted bracelets is not intended to be used as a life line
